“Learn to Play Apologize by OneRepublic Easily on Guitar – Steve Stine Shows You How!”

Hi everyone, it’s Steve Stine here and I’m going to show you how to play Apologize by One Republic. This song is pretty easy to play and I’m going to show you how you can make it simpler by using a capo on the third fret.

I’m going to start off by showing you the chords that you’ll need to play. We have A minor, F, C and G. You can play the F chord by pressing down on the bottom two strings or you can use an F bar chord. For the C chord, instead of playing the standard C chord, some people like to play C at nine which can make it easier to transition to the four-finger G.

Once you have your capo on the third fret, you can start strumming the song. It’s always nice to start off by strumming as little as possible. This will give you time to switch between the chords. If you’re still learning the chords, you have three beats to get to the next chord after you strum the first beat.

If you’re familiar with the song, you can play it faster and add some strumming patterns and embellishments to give it your own flair. I have a video that I made which covers all of this in more detail, so make sure to check it out if you want to learn more.
